Trump on the 10th denied reports that US aircraft at a Jordan base were damaged
in an Iranian strike, calling the reports "completely untrue" and saying the US
military suffered "no losses, nothing happened." Sources on the 9th had said
multiple US jets were damaged in Iran's 8th strike on the Muwaffaq Salti air
base in Jordan — an A-10 was hit with a wing broken and eight F-15s were lightly
damaged and later returned to service. Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps
said it struck the base targeting fighter deployment areas and hardened shelters
for F-35, F-16 and F-15 jets, causing "severe damage." Jordan's military said
its air defenses shot down 18 ballistic missiles Iran fired at Jordan.
