At the open, main domestic futures were mixed. Shanghai crude (SC) jumped over
6%; fuel oil and low-sulfur fuel oil (LU) rose more than 5%; benzene and asphalt
gained over 3%; Europe-route container freight, LPG and styrene (EB) climbed
above 2%. On the downside, Shanghai silver fell over 5%; LME copper and Shanghai
zinc slipped more than 3%; Shanghai copper fell nearly 3%; Shanghai tin dropped
over 2%; foundry aluminum declined about 2%; Shanghai aluminum and Shanghai gold
were down just over 1%.
