At its 1H 2026 results briefing, Juhua said it is optimistic on H2 refrigerant
demand. Reasons: H1 social inventory has been steadily drawn down and downstream
stocks are now at low levels, so traditional Q4 restocking is likely to
concentrate catch-up buying; 2026 is the final baseline year for the second
group of HFC quotas for developing countries, creating import quota-driven
demand; and if shipping through the Strait of Hormuz normalizes, pent-up export
demand from the Middle East and nearby markets could be released.
