At the close of the morning session, most domestic futures contracts declined, with lithium carbonate falling over 7%, platinum over 5%, palladium over 4%, silver over 6%, zinc, tin, copper, and coking coal over 3%, copper and coke nearly 3%, and red dates over 2%. On the upside, SC crude oil rose nearly 9%, low-sulfur fuel oil (LU) and fuel oil over 7%, container shipping to Europe over 6%, asphalt over 4%, and paraxylene, benzene, and PTA over 2%.
