At midday closing, most domestic futures contracts declined. Shanghai silver fell over 5%, lithium carbonate fell nearly 5%, platinum fell nearly 4%, and synthetic rubber, coking coal, ethylene glycol (EG), Shanghai tin, palladium, coke, red dates, and Shanghai zinc all fell over 3%. On the upside, SC crude oil rose nearly 6%, fuel oil rose over 4%, low-sulfur fuel oil (LU) rose nearly 4%, and container shipping to Europe rose over 3%.
