BRICS leaders reaffirmed mutual respect, sovereign equality and consensus-based
cooperation. Building on 20 years of engagement and the group's recent
expansion, they pledged to deepen three pillars of cooperation:
political-security, trade and finance, and people-to-people exchanges. They
called for promoting peace, creating a more representative and equitable
international order, reinvigorating and reforming multilateral institutions, and
advancing sustainable, inclusive growth while deepening BRICS strategic
partnership.
