Houthi spokesman Yahya Sarea said on social media on the evening of Sept. 12
that Saudi warplanes carried out 129 airstrikes across Taiz, Marib, Hodeidah,
al-Jawf, Saada, Amran and Hajjah provinces over the past 48 hours. He named F-15
and Typhoon fighters as the aircraft, saying they operated from Khamis Mushait
and Taif military bases, and said the Houthis would "respond and punish" the
strikes. The group also said it has stepped up offensives against Yemeni
government forces and the Saudi-led coalition, seizing strategic sites along the
Red Sea coast and the Bab al-Mandeb.
