Hyundai Motor Group is developing an in‑house autonomous driving stack centered
on Atria AI, an end‑to‑end model for environmental perception and driving
decisions. The group said Atria AI‑equipped Level 2++ vehicles have a
mass‑production target of H2 2029 and that it will continuously train the system
on real‑world driving data with a long‑term aim of advancing to Level 4. Hyundai
is partnering with NVIDIA to accelerate commercial deployment of advanced driver
assistance and autonomy, planning to introduce a NVIDIA‑developed Level 2+
system in its first production software‑defined vehicle in H1 2028; it also
cited a Level 2++ production target of H2 2028.
