According to Iran's Mehr News Agency, Iranian Parliament Speaker Qalibaf has submitted the "National Artificial Intelligence Development Law" to the President for implementation. The law contains 12 articles and 8 appendices. Its report was submitted to the plenary session of Parliament by the Industry and Mining Committee, and after being passed in a public meeting, it was approved by the Guardian Council. According to Article 2 of the law, a National Artificial Intelligence Organization will be established to organize and develop the artificial intelligence ecosystem. This organization will serve as an independent body and the secretariat of the National Steering Committee, operating solely using existing facilities, budgets, and personnel, and adhering to relevant laws and regulations, under the leadership of the President.
