An Iraqi analyst emphasized that there is currently no evidence that the attacks on Saudi oil pipelines originated from Iraq, and criticized Riyadh for accusing certain Iraqi groups. According to Iran's news agency on Sunday, citing the Iraqi newspaper Al-Ahram, Iraqi analyst Asir Sheila stated that there is no evidence that the attacks on Saudi East-West oil pipelines originated from Iraq. He pointed out that Riyadh's rush to accuse certain Iraqi groups before the investigation was complete was an attempt to find new pretexts. Sheila stated that the Iraqi government should take legal and diplomatic action against these accusations, as remaining silent could be interpreted as accepting Saudi Arabia's claims. He added that previous Iraqi investigations had confirmed that the attacks did not originate from Iraq. It is understood that the Saudi Foreign Ministry claimed on Friday evening that the country's vital oil transportation routes were attacked by several drones from Iraq.
