Mohammed Bashah, founder and chief analyst at Basha Report Risk Advisory, stated that political infighting and military divisions within Yemen's internationally recognized government are hindering the fight against the Houthis. It is impossible to defeat the Houthis with divided command and control and eight armies vying for influence. The biggest factor that has strengthened the Houthis and enabled them to continue their advance is internal strife. They blame and shift responsibility to each other.
