Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi said in an interview on the 13th that a
meeting in Oman on the 14th will focus on a new maritime corridor inside the
Strait of Hormuz. Iran will present details of the agreement with Oman and a
route map. Araghchi said the agreement does not mean the Strait will reopen;
reopening would require the US to fulfill commitments under the Islamabad
Memorandum of Understanding.
