About 9:00 a.m. local time on the 14th, an explosion struck a factory in Ota
Ward, Tokyo. Tokyo police say a preliminary assessment points to an on-site gas
explosion of unknown cause; glass and debris were scattered. Three employees
sustained minor injuries and were conscious. Firefighters and police are
investigating.
