Guangdong Pisen Electronics Co. launched a recall of two power‑bank models,
TP‑D114 and TP‑D133, effective Sept. 8, after identifying fire risk. The company
cited defects in incoming battery cells, protection circuits and manufacturing
processes. Under prolonged charge/discharge cycles, high temperatures or
compression/impact the units may overheat, swell, cause burns and in extreme
cases ignite.
