Iran's foreign ministry spokesman told Mehr news agency that Saudi Arabia requested the Oman talks not be held, delaying the meetings. Tehran said regional states should have seized the opportunity and warned that pursuing the wrong direction would not solve the Yemen conflict. Iran and Oman have reached a final understanding; Iran will consult with Oman on how to formalize and publish the agreement.
