Iran foreign ministry spokesman Baghaei said Iran and Turkey maintain a
"special" relationship that goes beyond relaying messages between Tehran and the
U.S., with continuous foreign minister contact and cooperation across multiple
fields. He said the countries share concerns and views on several issues,
notably opposition to Israeli hegemonic policies, and use ministerial dialogue
to discuss a broad agenda.
