According to the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA), Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Bagaei, responding to questions about the meeting and talks between Iranian President Pezechzian and the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi during the BRICS summit, stated: "This meeting was arranged at the request of the UAE. As a country that consistently advocates strengthening mutual trust and relations among neighboring countries and regional nations, we accepted this request. Bilateral issues are the priority in such meetings. Under the current circumstances, issues concerning regional peace and security will inevitably be discussed."
