At the morning session close, China’s main futures contracts were mostly lower.
Synthetic rubber fell about 4%, container freight dropped on the Europe route
nearly 3%, and rapeseed, PVC, glass, lithium carbonate, Shanghai tin and soda
ash each declined more than 2%. Gainers included Shanghai crude (SC), up over
6%, fuel oil up nearly 2%, and ethylene glycol (EG) and low-sulfur fuel oil (LU)
up above 1%.
