Saudi cabinet strongly condemned the Houthi armed group’s continued decision
attacks on civilian facilities and civilians inside Saudi Arabia. It said
safeguarding national, territorial and resource security is an immutable,
non‑negotiable principle. Citing the UN Charter and international law, the
cabinet said Saudi Arabia has a lawful right to self-defense and to protect its
sovereignty, citizens, residents and vital interests.
