Refinitiv-reported shipping sources said Tuesday that oil-loading operations at
Yanbu port in the Red Sea has been suspended after Saudi Arabia, the world’s
largest crude exporter, closed its east–west oil pipeline for several days
following an attack by Yemen’s Houthi militants. ARAMCO had increased use of the
Yanbu terminal since Feb. 28, when hostilities between the US and Iran began;
the company declined to comment.
