Saudi-led coalition said early Sept 16 that Saudi air defenses on Sept 15
intercepted and destroyed a drone launched by Yemen's Houthi militia south of
Mecca; the drone "had not entered" the holy city's no-fly zone, coalition
spokesman Turki al-Maliki said. He said this was the Houthis' second attack on
Mecca; they reportedly fired a ballistic missile toward Mecca in July 2017.
