As of September 13, the seven-day average volume of oil and liquid energy transported eastward through the Strait of Hormuz was close to 12 million barrels per day. However, the more critical structural change is that Iranian crude oil has almost disappeared from the latest flow, with the main sources of cargo being Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Iraq, Kuwait, and ship-to-ship transshipment from the Gulf of Oman of unknown origin.
