As of July, Bloomberg's AI-related news items had risen to a high point in its sample, but Google search interest had fallen from nearly 100 in the spring to around 70, indicating that while the supply of AI information is still increasing, the marginal attention attracted by new news is beginning to decline. Going forward, the impact of ordinary AI news on the index may continue to decrease; only events that truly alter computing power demands, commercial revenue, regulatory pathways, or security risks are more likely to regain market pricing power.
