Bahrain Aluminum CEO Ali Al Baqali told Reuters the company's aluminum output is about 80% of pre-war levels. Exports are being routed through Saudi Red Sea port Jeddah and Oman's Sohar. The firm, which says it is the world's largest single-site smelter, shut Lines 1–3 after supply-chain disruption linked to a Strait of Hormuz closure; the plant was also hit by an Iranian air strike in late March that Al Baqali described as minor. Damage has been repaired. The smelter is operating Lines 4–6, with annual capacity on those lines equivalent to about 1.3 mln tonnes versus roughly 1.6 mln tpy before the conflict.
