Through August the China–Kazakhstan (Lianyungang) logistics cooperation base
dispatched 666 China–Europe/Asia trains, shipping 54,600 TEU, up 9.18% YoY,
Nanjing customs data show. Since opening the base has run over 8,200 trains and
moved more than 700,000 TEU. It operates six international routes — covering
five Central Asian countries, a China–Kyrgyzstan–Uzbekistan corridor,
China–Russia links and trans‑Caspian services — and serves five outbound borders
ports including Alshankou and Horgos, reaching multiple stations across Asia
and Europe. Major cargoes include vehicles and parts, chemicals, home
appliances, textiles and electronics.
