[Iran Initiates Five Oil and Gas Field Development Contracts Worth $13.6 Billion] According to Iran's Tasnim News Agency, the Engineering and Development Manager of the National Iranian Oil Company stated that five oil and gas field development contracts, with a total value of $13.6 billion, have commenced implementation. Upon completion, these contracts will increase daily oil production capacity by more than 600,000 barrels and daily natural gas production capacity by 30 million cubic meters. To date, Iran has signed upstream development contracts totaling approximately $9.3 billion, and these contracts are currently in the process of obtaining necessary permits and validation.
