Seema Shah, chief global strategist at Principal Asset Management, said the
market debate has shifted from whether rates will rise again to how many more
hikes will follow. She said the Fed's unanimous vote on the recent decision
shows rising energy prices and persistent inflation have forced doves to join
hawks, making a one-and-done outcome unlikely, and added that with markets
pricing multiple hikes policymakers may need at least one more to preserve
credibility.
