At the morning open, China's lead futures contracts were mostly lower. Shanghai
crude (SC) dropped over 5%; fuel oil fell more than 4%; low-sulfur fuel oil (LU)
declined over 3%; styrene (EB) and benzene each slid over 2%; liquefied
petroleum gas (LPG) was down nearly 2%; pulp and plastics fell just above 1%. On
the upside, rapeseed meal rose about 2%, while methanol, cooking coal and soybean
meal gained around 1%.
