China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC) unit CNNC 404 Co., Ltd said it has developed domestically produced krypton isotope thickness‑gauge sources, marking a shift from prior import dependence. The unit said it has multiple specifications with independent intellectual property to serve industrial thickness gauging, instrument calibration and tracer monitoring. CNNC applications highlighted in quality control for new‑energy batteries, specialty paper and thin films, signaling improved supply security for China’s high‑end manufacturing supply chain.
