The Financial Times reports UK AI startup Emulate, founded by former DeepMind
researchers and only a month old, is in talks on a multi-hundred-million-dollar
funding round that would value the company near $4bn. Sources say Emulate is
seeking up to $700m; if completed the round would set a post-money valuation of
about $3.7bn. The round is expected to be co-led by Index Ventures and
Lightspeed Venture Partners.
