At the midday close, China's main futures contracts were mostly lower. Benzene
futures hit the down-limit; Shanghai crude (SC) slid more than 6%; styrene (EB)
dropped over 5%; fuel oil fell over 4%; LPG and paraxylene eased more than 3%;
apples and low-sulfur fuel oil (LU) declined over 2%. On the upside, the
container-shipping Europe route rose more than 8%; lithium carbonate gained
nearly 4%; rapeseed meal was up nearly 3%; plywood climbed over 2%; Shanghai
lead and rapeseed rose about 2%; Shanghai tin and nickel gained over 1%.
