South Korea's Lee said at a Friday press conference that single-stock leveraged
ETFs launched earlier this year had shortcomings; they were introduced as the
equity rally was ending and a subsequent market reversal inflicted heavy losses
on investors. He did not apologize or name who was responsible for the policy.
The move had previously prompted strong investor backlash.
