Wuhan municipal government issued a high-quality digital-economy development
plan through 2030, targeting digital-economy core industry value-added to reach
20% of city GDP and the artificial intelligence industry to scale to 200 billion
yuan by 2030; the plan also aims for 300 high-quality intelligent products. It
calls for a substantial expansion in computing-hub capacity, deeper integration
of physical and data systems, accelerated data-value realization, and broader,
higher-quality citywide digital-intelligent transformation.
