Anthropic disclosed its internal R&D automation metrics for the first time: As of August, Claude was able to lead 26% of model development tasks end-to-end under human supervision, starting from high-level prompts, a rapid increase from about 1% in March; if "collaboration" is also included, the AI participation rate has exceeded 90%.
