HSI closed up 0.60% after an intraday rally of more than 1%; Hang Seng Tech Index gained 2.20%. Chip stocks extended gains — 06082.HK rose more than 12%, 03986.HK rose more than 9%, 01347.HK rose more than 4%. Optical-communications names advanced, led by 01879.HK (up >22%); robotics plays such as 02670.HK rose more than 21%. Other outperformers included liquid cooling, mainland property developers, Chinese brokerages, PCB, AI and power-equipment sectors. Lagging sectors were coal, building materials & cement, oil, film & entertainment and ports & transport. Lenovo Group (00992.HK) jumped over 9% to a record market cap above HKD460bn; MINIMAX-W (00100.HK) climbed more than 18%.
