during the Mid-Autumn and National Day holiday (Sept 25–Oct 7, 2026) to total
about 219,000, averaging over 16,800 flights per day, up 2% YoY. Based on
Hangban Guanjia booking data as of Sept 17, the average domestic economy-class
booking fare for the National Day period is about 973.7 yuan, up 9% YoY. Price
dispersion remains: the civil aviation authority’s official direct-sales
platform shows select short-haul routes still offering tickets near 300 yuan,
while overall outbound (cross-border) travel demand is rising across both
long‑haul and short‑haul destinations during the extended holiday.
