refiners they will receive no Saudi crude allocations next month after a drone
attack forced closure of a key pipeline to the Red Sea. The east‑west pipeline
was shut following the strike; sources say partial flow could resume in days and
full restoration may take up to six weeks. European refiners typically lift
Saudi crude from Sidi Kerir on Egypt's Mediterranean coast via a pipeline linked
to the Red Sea; the outage has prompted panic buying — Poland's Orlen SA has
issued more than 10 tenders since Friday seeking replacement supply.
