On Sept. 18 Zhongjuxin said in an investor-relations note that tungsten
hexafluoride (WF6) demand should rise as integrated-circuit process nodes
advance. Its WF6 product is 6N purity and is manufactured via a joint venture
with Japan’s Central Glass, with both partners supplying production technology.
A jointly owned sales company, majority-held by the Japanese partner, handles
distribution. The JV is internally considering expanding annual WF6 capacity
from 600 tons to 800 tons; implementation is not final and, if approved,
could create short-term depreciation pressure on Zhongjuxin’s profits depending
on market conditions.
