By the 23:00 close, China domestic main futures contracts were mixed with more
gains than losses. Pulp rose nearly 3%; asphalt, ethylene glycol (EG) and
methanol gained over 2%; synthetic rubber rose nearly 2%; benzene, low-sulfur
fuel oil (LU) and propylene were up over 1%. On the downside, rapeseed meal fell
more than 2%; soybean meal, soybean No.1 and No.2 were down over 1%; coke and
Coking coal fell about 1%.
