Beijing’s municipal industry and information technology bureau and development
and reform commission issued the Action Plan to Accelerate Token Economy
Development (2026–2028), directing support for software and information-service
firms to build token distribution platforms benchmarked to international best
practice. The plan targets improved cross-model, cross‑modal and cross‑region
platform access, unified APIs, model aggregation, token metering and settlement
services; it calls for cultivating leading firms with strong upstream/downstream
spillovers and for including token distribution platforms in new-infrastructure
planning as efficient service entry points for the intelligent economy.
