According to the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), in the week ending September 15, speculators reduced their net short positions in CBOT 2-year Treasury futures by 73,754 contracts to 345,203 contracts. Speculators increased their net short positions in CBOT ultra-long-term Treasury futures by 63 contracts to 345,203 contracts. Speculators also increased their net short positions in CBOT Treasury futures by 2,640 contracts to 203,157 contracts.
