The Cyberspace Administration of China launched a special operation to curb malicious defamation, aggregation of negative company information and exploitation of supervision channels for illegal gain. The campaign also targeted internal 'involution' competition and strictly addressed accounts spreading false enterprise information or stoking consumer-group conflict. During the operation, CAC units and major commercial websites removed over 1.56 million pieces of enterprise-related infringing content and dealt with more than 26,000 illegal or non-compliant accounts.
