[Iranian Interior Ministry: Rising Prices Cause Public Concern, Efforts Underway] Iranian Interior Ministry spokesman Ali Zenivand stated that rebuilding damaged civilian infrastructure is the country's "top priority in its post-war plan." Tasnim News Agency reported that Zenivand said at a press conference, "Repairing housing and public service facilities such as police stations is a higher priority than any non-essential government projects." Zenivand stated that due to enemy attacks, "nearly 75,000 homes, as well as some infrastructure and connecting bridges, have been damaged" in several provinces, including Hormozgan and Golestan. Regarding record-high inflation in Iran following decades of Western sanctions, he said, "Rising prices are causing public concern, and all officials are working hard to address this issue."
