On the 19th the EU said it regretted that the United States, for the second
consecutive years, refused visas to members of the Palestinian delegation,
preventing their participation in the 81st UN General Assembly in New York, and
urged Washington to reconsider the decision given the UN headquarters agreement
and US host‑country obligations.
