Tencent will not change its commitment to supporting basic research and views it
as a long-term strategic effort beyond commercial boundaries, Xi Dan, senior
vice president and chief talent officer, said at a Shenzhen forum. She said
scientific research is moving beyond single-discipline limits and that
interdisciplinary integration and AI’s impact on research are becoming key
drivers of technological innovation.
