FT-obtained presentation shows OpenAI expects to burn nearly $280 bln by
end-2030. The company forecasts up to $278 bln negative free cash flow in
2026–2030 as it ramps investment to expand access to compute. Revenue is
projected to grow tenfold from $36 bln this year to $350 bln in 2030, with
cumulative revenue to 2030 of $840 bln. OpenAI plans about $856 bln of spending
on compute and infrastructure by 2030, its largest single expense.
