Yemen’s Houthi armed group spokesman Yahya Saree said the group launched two
attacks inside Saudi Arabia using large numbers of ballistic missiles, cruise
missiles and drones. He said the first strike targeted key facilities in Riyadh
and the second hit ARAMCO’s Yanbu facility, causing large fires, per the Houthi
statement. Saree framed the operations as retaliation for Saudi airstrikes and a
blockade, claiming Saudi warplanes have conducted 732 airstrikes from Khamis
Mushait and Ta'if bases. Saudi authorities have not confirmed the attacks or
reported damage.
