On Sept. 20 at the 2026 World Manufacturing Conference, ChangXin Memory
Technologies (CXMT) said its fifth-generation process platform has entered
volume production. CXMT reported a memory-array active-area half-pitch of 11.95
nm, storage-capacitor depth-to-width ratio of 45:1 and core active-region height
reduced to 6,762 nm; storage density and per-wafer output are more than 50%
higher versus the prior generation. A 24GB LPDDR5X product based on the platform
is in volume production and is being adopted in domestic flagship smartphones.
