Nanjing municipal authorities issued a notice allowing housing provident fund
withdrawals for owner-occupied home renovations and annual property-management
fees. Effective Sept 20, 2026 (inclusive), contributors and their spouses who
renovate owner-occupied housing within Nanjing may withdraw against renovation
invoices: up to 1,000 yuan per sqm, up to 150,000 yuan per household,
application required within one year of invoice issuance; one renovation
withdrawal per household and one per dwelling. For property-management fees,
contributors and their spouses owning owner-occupied housing in Nanjing may
withdraw for the current year’s fees: if providing invoices, withdrawals equal
the invoice amount with a household annual cap of 5,000 yuan; without invoices,
household annual cap is 1,000 yuan. Each household may apply for property-fee
withdrawal once per calendar year.
