On the evening of Sept. 20, Zhipu said its MaaS platform will soon roll out a
no-content-retention feature to strengthen data privacy for enterprise and
developer users. The company said the feature is not an unconditional blanket
non-retention: functions that require server-side persistence, such as BatchAPI
and FileAPI, are excluded, and the platform may retain related data for 30 days
or longer where required by law or to investigate suspected violations or
misuse.
